Brazil conclude their Group G campaign against Cameroon at the Lusail Iconic Stadium at 22:00 local time.
Cameroon produced a stunning second half comeback against Serbia on Monday morning and Rigobert Song will be hoping that his side can take that level on intensity into this final Group G clash. The Indomitable Lions weren’t able to take all three points and they will find it tough to qualify, however, they cannot be completely written off as they play with plenty of spirit and determination. Andre Onana has been suspended and sent home, however, the rest of the camp does appear to be pulling in the same direction and they should play their part in an entertaining clash.
Brazil have already booked their place in the round of 16 and the pre-tournament favourites will fancy their chances of making it a perfect three from three in Group G. Although they don’t need to win this match, they will want to ensure that they finish top and avoid a potentially tricky last 16 clash with Portugal. Neymar’s absence was keenly felt against Switzerland as the Selecao make hard work of their 1-0 victory, however, they found a way through and are still yet to concede at this tournament.
Brazil are predictably priced up as the odds-on favourites for this final Group G clash and can be backed at 2/9 whereas Cameroon have been priced at 11/1 to pull off the biggest upset of the tournament so far.
