Brazil conclude their Group G campaign against Cameroon at the Lusail Iconic Stadium at 22:00 local time.

Cameroon produced a stunning second half comeback against Serbia on Monday morning and Rigobert Song will be hoping that his side can take that level on intensity into this final Group G clash. The Indomitable Lions weren’t able to take all three points and they will find it tough to qualify, however, they cannot be completely written off as they play with plenty of spirit and determination. Andre Onana has been suspended and sent home, however, the rest of the camp does appear to be pulling in the same direction and they should play their part in an entertaining clash.

Brazil have already booked their place in the round of 16 and the pre-tournament favourites will fancy their chances of making it a perfect three from three in Group G. Although they don’t need to win this match, they will want to ensure that they finish top and avoid a potentially tricky last 16 clash with Portugal. Neymar’s absence was keenly felt against Switzerland as the Selecao make hard work of their 1-0 victory, however, they found a way through and are still yet to concede at this tournament.

Brazil are predictably priced up as the odds-on favourites for this final Group G clash and can be backed at 2/9 whereas Cameroon have been priced at 11/1 to pull off the biggest upset of the tournament so far.

Cameroon vs Brazil Betting Tips

Brazil have a brilliant record against Cameroon and although they were far from vintage on Monday night, this will not be as tough as facing Switzerland. The Indomitable Lions haven’t been afraid to pour forward, however, this has tended to leave plenty of spaces at the back and the 2002 winners will be looking to exploit those gaps.

BRAZIL TO WIN AND OVER 2.5 GOALS

Although Brazil have a terrific record at this tournament and they have kept multiple clean sheets along the way, it may be worth taking a chance on Cameroon finding the back of the net here. They found a way past this opposition in 2014 and they need to attack if they are to stand any chance of qualifying for the next round.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

Brazil have numerous goal-scoring options within their squad and Tite may opt to make a few chances for this contest. Nevertheless, Raphinha has managed three shots on target at the tournament so far and the Barcelona man is happy to have a go from distance. He could find himself on the scoresheet here.

Rigobert has options to change things for this game, however, he is likely to keep some continuity for this final group game. His side were excellent in the second half against Serbia.

Key Player/s: Eric Choupo-Moting, Vincent Aboubakar

Team news: Andre Onana has been sent home and will not feature in this third and final group game. Both Christian Bassagog and Vincent Aboubakar looked lively off the bench and could be given more prominent roles here.

Predicted Lineup: Devis Epassy, Collins Pai, Nouhou Tolo, Jean-Charles Castelletto, Nicholas N’Koulou, Frank Anguissa, Pierre Kunde, Martin Hongla, Karl Toko-Ekambi, Eric Choupo-Moting, Bryan Mbuemo.

Brazil

Tite has an incredible amount of options available at his disposal and with Brazil already guaranteed a spot in the last 16, he could use match to experiment and make changes.

Key Player/s: Casemiro, Neymar Jr, Vinicius Jr.

Team news: Neymar isn’t expected to return until the knock-out stages of the competition so won’t feature here. Both Fred and Lucas Pacqueta were disappointing against Switzerland and were hooked early in the second half. They could find themselves on the bench here.

Predicted Lineup: Alisson, Alex Telles, Marquinhos, Alex Sandro, Eder Militao, Casemiro, Fabinho, Bruno Guimaraes, Raphinha, Vinicius Jr, Richarlison

Cameroon vs Brazil Prediction

This should be food and drink for Brazil and they will be expected to end on a high. They should be able to put Monday’s languid performance firmly behind them here and cruise to victory. Cameroon should play their part, but they are likely to be far too open at the back.
